Who are you and where do you come from?
Hi, I’m Elle, your friendly neighbourhood financial adviser with a heart for South Auckland.
Born and raised in Mangere, I’m a proud first-generation Kiwi with roots that stretch from Samoa (Lalovaea, Siufaga, and Fagaloa) to Fiji (Wainibokasi). My parents came here with very little, but gave me everything and that’s shaped how I live, work, and give back to my community today.
Papatoetoe is more than just my postcode – it’s part of my story
It’s where I bought my first home, got engaged and married the love of my life in our backyard (yep, backyard weddings are where it’s at!). I’ve lived here for 11 years now, and I’ve come to deeply appreciate the magic of great neighbours, friendly faces, and being part of something bigger than myself. In the last few years, I’ve gotten more involved in local events and community spaces and honestly, it’s done wonders for my soul.
What's your fire?
The work I do as a financial adviser is personal and powerful.
One of my proudest moments? Helping a couple who thought they were drowning in debt realise not only could they buy their first home, but also start planning for retirement. Hearing they were crying happy tears at work… that hit me right in the heart. This is what it’s all about.
My approach to life? Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I’ve said yes to a lot of new (sometimes scary) things and sure, the journey can feel lonely at times. But I’d do it all again. No regrets, just lessons and wins.
My parents inspire everything I do.
They paved the way for me to live a life they only dreamed of so I’m paying it forward. I believe every family in our community can build wealth, plan for the future, and live abundantly. Sometimes all it takes is a little knowledge, the right plan, and someone in your corner. That’s where I come in.
I sit down with everyday Kiwis and make finances feel a whole lot less scary. Whether it’s smashing debt, setting up KiwiSaver, sorting insurance, or prepping for retirement, I help people get clear on where they’re at and where they want to go. Think of me as your financial coach, hype woman, and planning buddy all in one.
Bonus: My advice is free, 100% confidential, and judgement-free.
Everyone deserves access to good advice. And I’m here to make that happen especially for our Pasifika, Māori and migrant communities, because financial literacy should never be out of reach.
